Hey Survivor,
I hope everything is going well with you and yours in this wild apocalypse. I’ve got so many deadlines this month that I forgot DarkLit Press was doing a Kickstarter for their DarkLit Sails line of books. My book Dead Soil is one of them and I’m excited to get it out into the world. If this year goes right, I’ll have 3 horror books published this year.
This is going to be wild, also there is some news in the apocalypse and rumors that Z-Nation or something in the Z-Nation Universe might be coming back, scroll down to find out more.

Dead Soil by Sylvester Barzey
In treacherous pirate infested waters, a horrifying tale unfolds, intertwining the brutal reality of the transatlantic slave trade with the relentless onslaught of the undead. Dayo and Kofi, two souls promised to each other, are ripped from their homeland and thrust into the abyss of the zombie apocalypse. They must fight not only for their survival but also for the redemption and freedom of their people. After a revolt on a slave ship sends Kofi to a watery grave, Dayo must face this new world alone.
As the sea churns with the echoes of her ancestors' pain, Dayo must confront her own demons and forge an unlikely alliance with the very soul who helped enslave her people to stop a flesh-crazed crew of zombie pirates. From the blood-soaked decks of slave ships to the haunted shores of cursed islands, Dayo must navigate through betrayal, treachery, and overcome the monsters created by Dead Soil.

Z- Nation News?
Before you get too excited like I did, I’ve been keeping an eye on The Asylum twitter page since they posted this and haven’t gotten any news or updates about it yet. I’m hoping that we’ll get a new season, movie to wrap it up or something about Black Summer, but for now it’s just hurry up and wait.
What do you think the news is?

Desperate to keep her sister safe in a post-apocalyptic NYC, Raven joins a covert military unit dedicated to eradicating the vampires that terrorize the city. But even her new military family is far from safe.
Whispers of a traitor spread and their knife might be angled at Raven’s back.
