I’m Back on the Cradle To The Grave Podcast!
Yes,
slipped up and let me back on another episode of the Cradle To The Grave podcast, and this time, I got to talk about one of my favorite random-ass horror gems: 1997's Wishmaster.I honestly can’t tell you why I love this movie so much. Maybe it's the twisted fairytale vibes, or the fact that it feels like an urban legend wrapped in a monkey’s paw wish. I’m hooked on stories that take something meant for kids, like wishes, and turn it into pure nightmare fuel.
Even better? I got my wife into it, too. Always a win.
If you’re into nostalgic horror, evil genies, and chaotic wish fulfillment gone wrong, you’re gonna want to check this one out.

Free Collection of Short Stories by Incredible Black Authors!
I can’t even explain how much fun it was listening to these amazing authors read their stories out loud. I wasn’t the most talkative during the event, my mind was 100% locked on my upcoming knee surgery, but I was all ears. And let me tell you, some of these stories really pulled me in.
The best part? Every one of those stories, including mine, “Neighbor,” has been collected into a single volume, and you can grab it for free right now.
If you're into powerful, imaginative, and chilling short fiction from Black voices in speculative fiction, this one’s a must-have.

New Release From A Writing Friend
Vampire Slayer wasn't an option on career day...
Surf, sand, neon lights, and vampire jokes have been Jenna's life ever since her former best friend, Georgie, spilled her darkest secret to the whole school. A secret that's haunted her since she was little-she was attacked by something inhuman. When she stumbles across blood-drained bodies on the boardwalk and is attacked by a vampire-looking monster, old nightmares come back to haunt her. Now in the crosshairs of an undead serial killer, Jenna's convinced the killer is also Georgie's new boyfriend. Dodging a murderer is easier than talking to her enemy, but when Georgie starts changing in even more monstrous ways, Jenna has to suck it up and work with the person she hates most if she wants any hope of stopping a killer before they both end up dead.
Inspired by The Lost Boys and 90s teen horror novels, Blood on the Boardwalk is a modern day horror comedy perfect for teens (and anyone) looking to dip their toe into the horror genre, and adults looking for the dopamine hit of nostalgic horror easter eggs!
